I finally got my shots up from the Olympic Qualifiers at Mammoth I shot two weeks ago. I didn't even know about the event until someone mentioned it a few weeks before the city college ski/snow trip to mammoth. I brought my whole backpack of camera stuff on the trip, unsure how much i'd be shooting. When I got there and saw the size of the pipe and the whole event I realized I had to shoot it. It was pretty much an olympic event (though a pre-event). I wasn't covering the event for anyone, so I was just there, shooting for myself trying to get the best shots I could. It was my third time shooting a snowboard comp, so I'm happy with what I got. We were leaving Friday afternoon and I wanted to ride a lot so I just shot halfpipe on Wednesday and slopestyle Thursday.
